To be considered for enrollment at McIntosh Trail Early Childhood Development Council, families must meet federal income guidelines or qualify under other eligibility criteria, such as foster care placement, homelessness, receipt of public assistance, or eligibility under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Additionally, children must meet the age requirements, and the family must reside within the counties served by our program.
We utilize the Second Step® curriculum to support the social-emotional development of our students. This evidence-based program helps children build critical skills in emotion management, empathy, problem-solving, and responsible decision-making, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.
To strengthen our partnership with families, we implement the ReadyRosie™ family engagement curriculum. ReadyRosie provides research-based videos and activities that families can use at home to support their children's learning and development.

What Our Families are Saying
My son has been going here since he was only 3 months old. I was nervous at first but the staff here has shown my son and me nothing but love and support in everything in our lives.
Jasmine Jones, Mrs. Beverly, Brittany, and Bioka (miss her) ALL have been more than staff/my son's teachers....they're his mom too. 💕
